As usual at this stage of the America’s Cup cycle, teams, clubs and sailors are saying nothing - or at least they’re supposed to. The reason being is that there are delicate conversations and negotiations going on and it’s all eyes on the Defender to break cover, announce a venue, publish a Protocol with the Challenger of Record and open the entry process. That will happen sooner rather than later and we’re in the final knockings of the venue decision being taken. As reported extensively elsewhere, it’s looking like Athens, Naples or Jeddah and I know which one I would prefer. Inshallah.
