The significance of the Moth Worlds this year is hard to underplay as it’s set to be, undoubtedly, the passing of the baton over to the next generation whether the established stars of our sport like it or not. The new kids on the block in the form of Enzo Balanger, Mattias Coutts and Jake Pye are the real stand-out superstars of this very elitist gathering with Ryan Littlechild knocking on the door hard. Riley Gibbs has been rapid too in practice over the last month whilst Seb Schneiter posted a podium in the recent Moth Balardi Cup whilst Coutts and Pye travelled up. New names, new faces, an outstanding generation of foiling talent coming through fast.
