Hate to say I told you so...but the Aussies are back for Naples.

Okay, it was the worst kept secret in sailing, but I can kind of get it. Australia back in the America’s Cup is a big, big deal and I don’t know about you but I have a very real sense that the first Naples regatta in 2027 will be just the start of something that could rival 1983. You look at the elements right now, and then you look at the possibilities going forward and I just think all the ingredients are right there for the Aussies to win again. Why do I say that? Well, they are not going to win in Naples in 2027. That’s a done deal, two, maybe three-horse race. What this team can eye is a huge transfer of talent for AC39, and all the aces are theirs, if they play their cards right.
